Reece's Granny Phase
Hi all, Couldn't live without an Escort so i went and got another :P I have recently purchased a mk2 4 door ghia off a relative as I am just about to take my WRX off the road for some refinement (rwd, 2.5L drift machine). Its in very standard condition today and is in quite good nick as well. I think the only plans i have are to: Replace standard radio Get some Venetian blinds *maybe* get some superlites Lower it an inch or two all round White walled tyres Dont want to touch it really as it will be cheap to run and should be reliable. ( I also made a mess of my last RS2000 which was super unreliable and used way too much fuel so i'd prefer not to go down that route as thats what the wrx is for!) Anyways here are some pics..Enjoy!

Very nice. Good too here your bored silly driving a 4wd[:x)] Use the reliable WRX for the street and drift the Esky. I have a Venetian blind to suit a MK2 if you can't find one. Good luck with it Reece

Rhys what a great car. Good to see you're being sympathetic to its originality with the tidy up. Wheels are a tough decision - maybe some 13x7 Hotwires /Dragways / Spitfires?

I have been looking at it for a bit today and I think I will leave it as is. I might powder coat the wheels a gun metal grey and whack on the walls and see how that goes first.
Will look much better ONCE I source some round head lights and drop it an inch or so.

Very Nice. I have started my stopwatch and will be timing you to see how long it takes before you go for some performance upgrades. Extractors 1.5 months, straight through exhaust 2months, twins 3 months.... [88][88][88]

Looks pretty clean.
...With the Subaru, do you think the standard rear diff is going to be up to the task when you go to rwd ?

Sell the snoopy and buy a GTR Skyline. You remove a fuse and the front diff turns off, making it RWD only. It will do the 1/4 mile run easier with a couple extra cylinders to play with.

Welcome to the world of the granny Reece! That's one neat looking car you got there. I reckon you're on a winner with the powder coated RS alloys and some whitewalls too.

Reece
I will have to pop over and have a look. My suggestion change the front lights to round ones I think I have all the parts free.
Drop me an e-mail
