15x7 performance challengers or superlights?

I'm resigned to the fact that I can't afford a set of panasports yet, so what's your vote and why?

I like the Challengers because every man and his dog has Superlights. Both are very nice rims. Do they do the Challengers in 16's?

What sort of money are they worth?

    Regards,
    Craig.

I vote superlights(if the tax man is good to me Im getting some),but make sure you get the 8 spokes and not the 10 as they look a little too busy, thats not to say I dont like the challengers either.

    I was quoted $238ish for 15"(SL13) and $264 for 16"s(SL15) for the 8 spokers

Challengers, or if you want Superlites I'll sell you mine and I'll go buy Challengers.
Superlites are like putting SS rims on your standard Commodore these days. They do suit, but everyones done it.

For what its worth, the Hotwires look good too.

I like the hotwires also, but I'm a bit dubious of 20year old or so wheels + the fact that one of them has been repaired in the past for a major buckle + 15's give me more tyre choice, so its mainly a safety decision as i'm doing mainly hillclimbs + supersprints now.

Looks like the challengers have it!

Well, I was expecting Superlights to romp it in. [:0]

I agree though, mk2's look good on Challengers!

16x7 superlites with 330x32mm rotors and FPV 4 piston Brembo calipers make it all worth it....Your choice[88]

You must be kidding ... Superlites or the Compomotive equivalent are classic MK2

I reckon they look heaps better than the challenger/Bathurst Globe style wheel on a MK2, particularly in bigger diameters like 15's or 16's.

    Superlites all the way ...
