Too busy with trivial stuff like getting the place somewhat bushfire ready and helping a mate close to the aberfeldy fire with the same thing.

Steve, where is your new place?

Have been up working at the heyfield fires on a strike team for the past 4 days..... so i understand the concern.

Unfortunately my car wont be at sfs either.

New place is over the other side of the highway from the fires. 1.5mm of rain for Jan has seen things go from very green to very brown. Could have been very different if i'd bought the place in Seaton that I liked. Good thing the missus didnt. Spent the last five days out with the chainsaw and mower and installing new pipes and taps. Next is another firefighting pump and a tank connection so water can be sucked straight out into a tanker. Busy busy. Should take it to 45,000 litres in the fire system by the end of Feb.

Visited the dyno tonight with Woz. The bitza engine made 106.2kw at about 7250rpm. Funny thing is the top speed. 135kph. Love a 5.11 ratio rear diff with a bog std 4speed. Will be intesting to see what the proper engine makes when i get around to bolting it together. Will also be fun to drive it in the pine forests near here. :)

Nice one Steve, good to see it finally has some go in it. When do we get to see it in action?
