The harness bar isn't fitted yet. Should be done by the end of the week. I dropped the seats off this morning so that they could be mounted and the harness bars welded in.

I've been a bit slack with my posts of late.

The car is home. All the harness mounts and harness bar are in. Painting is going slowly. So far the bonnet and boot lid are done. Next are the doors then the shell.

No pics as of yet.

Righto. I'll see what i can do later today.

Not much change really. I'm just messing around with painting various bits and sorting out some stuff that i'm having made.

Ummm... [:I] That's not my garage..

My garage is currently coated in a nice layer of dust from endless amounts of rubbing back panels.

Bootlid is finished. Doors are next. Once the bolt on panels are done the shell comes back and then more rubbing down. One bonus is that i don't have any fingerprints left.

I hate painting. It's giving me the poo poos.

It is however doing wonders for my golf as i'm avoiding working on the car.

I am actually still working on the car. It's just a slow process at the moment and i don't want to put up pics until i'm done with the paint.

After an enormous amount of freaking around the brakes look like they'll arrive before Christmas along with the new flywheel and clutch. If they show up, i'll post a couple of pics.

I've test fitted the seats and harnesses and they're all good.

It'll just be slow until the paint is done. SFS next year might be on a trailer..

Roll cage is in etch. I have enough top coat to do the whole car provided i don't stuff it up too many times. Interior is next, then the outside then the engine bay.

The majority of the car is grey and it's very nearly ready for top coating. I just have a couple of spots that need smoothing.
