Well all the brake lines are in, but im having trouble getting new rear brake shoes. it has an atlas but the drum is 1/2 inch narrower than a v6 so v6 shoes wont fit. radiator is in and all hoses are on, i also have nearly finished my dash facia, i wanted to do something different and bring some colour inisde as the trim is mostly black, i also going to cover the consol pieces. I just need some more carpet to complete the interior. Cheers O

Are my eye's playing tricks ? [:u] It looks like there's a different set of wheels on this car in every photo ? I like the Simmons "O" I think they would look the part on the "V6 Beater" and the widened Rostyles on the "Green Meanie" But with so many sets of wheels you could have a different look at each run and then some [(#)]

Hi Owen, Stick with the painted Simmons, they look pretty hot on the car and continues the green theme (even though i'm colour blind).

Well its been a while but i finally have time for an update. things went backwards slightly as i had a conversation with my dad who now wants the car for himself and after a few golden ale's, we though the car would benifit from a sierra 5 speed behind the grunty v4. here some info on how to do it if anybody is thinking of doing it. first you must modify a v6 4 speed bellhousing ( by redrilling it and getting a retaining ring made) you need a td cortina clutch plate and thrust bearing and carrior, a v4 transit pressure plate, the the corty and transit are the same overall diameter, you must then modify the v6 clutch fork to take the corty thrust bearing carrier, then bolt it all up with a TE corty 2.0lt auto gearbox cross member with slighly elongated holes. and also change the yoke on the tailshaft. so im finally bake to where i was 4 weeks ago as im finding it hard to work on the car in the cold if i have any free time left. cheers O
