this car's going to be an every day driver, so i wanted some thing easy to keep clean and that last a long time with minimal effort

Its beena few weeks, and im not going to get the car ready for Easter.
I haven't been able to find any engine mounts, so with my mum wanting a new headlinig i stole hers and had a set made. $90 was all i was charged and a coat of paint you wont be able to tell the difference.
With the headling and mounts out of the white v4 i took the time to restore the rear parcel tray and inside window trims, and also the dummy vents. i have a couple of little jobs to do and two oil changes, to get the v4 and mk3 ready in two weeks for wagga. hope to see and meet you all there. O

Hey, your crossmember bolts up from underneath with no nuts outside the chassis rail, I've never noticed this before

Its a mid 69 model, same as mums white v4, the crossmember bolts up the same, i thought that most 69's were like this? I found some vinyl roof trim in grece, cant wait until it gets here. Im still going to paint the roof so if it takes a while to find someone to fit it it wont go rusty and its sealed under when it get done.Owen

My 69 1600 has the same setup for the x-member bolts. I think it was from 1970 that the bolts changed to going right through the rails.
Yet another difference for the 69 models - its a long list now!
