Scotty P's Mk1 Escort

Just had a new coat of Wild Plum and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The car also sits on coil over MkII struts with Koni adjustables. Braking duties courtesy of vented/grooved/drilled discs with Green Stuff pads and braided lines.

Trying to fit a set of 13x7 RS alloys, but have a few clearances issues. Pic below is trial fit of wheels only.

Engine is mildly worked 1600, but is in need of a rebuild. On the job card for 2009.

I hope you sort the issues with the front guards. It looks absolutely spot on with the RS 4-spokes. I love the new paint too. Great work, excellent car

    Jordan,

They do make these in a 16 inch rim, or at least very similar.

Check out these, would look great on your corty...

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Tex, glad I stuck with the original colour too! It looks even better in the flesh.

The car also has a six-clock dash now as well.

    Cheers,
    Scott

    Hi all,

Well, a dramatic change in life circumstance means I will probably be putting the car up for sale soon... [8~2] Thought I'd flag it here first before I get around to posting properly in the for sale section.

Owes me $10k, but don't expect to get it all back... but fairly close to. Any interest, let me know. Car is in Sydney, inner-West and is on club rego through SFCC.

    Sad day...

    Cheers,
    Scott
