I believed I was using the "right" hilux diff.... In the end, it measured 1380 from drum face to drum face. The info for the "right" diff said the housing flanges are 1200 f to f, which it is.. so who knows???

anyhow, this is pretty much how the rims sat before I started

hindsight, I would have cut the inner half arch out and then pulled the outer skin only... Think I managed to get about an extra inch a side out of the guards.

Nice rims hey Simon [:p]

not a fan of rust repairs..

after some double checking of the suspension drawings... I found that the rear springs would contact the tyres with one side in bump other in droop... so revised the turrets and moved the mount point 20mm in

started sealing off the boot and harness mounts

made up a plate to seal the interior rear vents off from the boot

almost a productive weekend

hey Glenn, the car is looking really good. i have done a bit of freelance work for a few mags before, maybe we should look at doing this when it is finished? so looks like it will be well worth a feature...
