My Mk1 1300E
Hi, just new to this forum.
did up my escort a few years ago, was oringally my great grandma's in the Uk, when she passed away, my dad brought it over in a shipping container as we aquired it through deceased estate.
was orginally olympic blue with vinyl roof and was rust in some of the arches and boot, we did some of the body work ourselves and then got it sprayed in ford white.
the orginal engine and running gear has been fine and did some minor repair/upgrades ( bushes/shocks etc ) but mods so far on the engine besides extractors and air filter and exhaust have been mininal because im looking for a 2 litre for it at the moment.
upgraded the front end with mk2 2litre re-con'd calipers, struts. springs and bigger new discs, aswell as a quick rack.
the back is still running original drums and diff, looking to upgrade that with the engine aswell as the gearbox ( want a 5 speed sierra )
aswell as its been lowered on 16 inch O.Z racing rims.
the interior is mint ( blue cloth seats and black carpet) and i re laquered the wood dash and trim and have put some sports seats in since the picture and has a non original steering wheel.
also got some split bumpers off the back of a escort panel van and re chromed them for the front.
I dont have the oringal square lucus spots in this picture either but do now.
its also running a ipod adaptable cd tuner, splits and some 6x9's on a custom shelf on the back.
got lots of pics of the interior and when it has the stock rims on it on my old computer i will have to get them up for you guys to check out.

apart from that for a few years its been my daily runner, but now have another car so going to take it off the road for the engine upgrade and keep it for a weekend showa' it gets lots of looks and its great fun to chuck about!
