The power figure you claim is a little high for a 4age, Not that it matters, It will be fun to drive with half that output.

Hmmm not sure what you mean? The power figure is dyno proven.

Awesome car, I was reading your thread about in on old skool ford not so long ago and I think I also remember seeing it in Zoom a while back ?

Have you had any issues/breakages with the W57 gearbox ?

Cheers,
Damion.

No i haven't had any issues ......yet with the W57 they are a pretty tuff box.

I have a few more pics of the my VERY slow progress on the rear end.
To date i have finished underneath all welded and painted (black) and sprayed in the boot area and back seat. I haven't clear coated it yet but should get to that this week.It looks pretty sweet straight off the gun!
My crap photos dont really do it justice.
Not toooo bad for my first attempt at painting either i might add [;^)]
My bilstein custom coilover shocks for the rear have been ordered and i should see them early next week.

Ill post some better pics soon. but here is a couple for now.

Got the lower arm mounts done now just need to sort the shock mount and i can assemble the diff !!....... AT last.
Note: the rubber bush at the bottom of the coilover has been changed to a spherical bearing for good measure and the shock will be sprayed red to suit the rest of the car.;)

There is NO rubber or urethane in the rear end at all. It will make the car alittle more noisy (not that ill notice... i have a screamer pipe for the external gate and everything else is pretty much solid mount!)but will provide a postive feel and zero play.

Pics arent the best but you get the drift
