Its only a "sleeper" if its capable of "waking up" otherwise its just "asleep" all the time. HYPO4D what are your plans for it?

Plans are to use it as a daily driver and fix it up as I go, maybe an engine transplant later on down the track but not sure what way to go at the moment, pinto with 45's / zetec efi / YB cossie / 13B PP Im not sure of modification regulations in victoria

Familiar nice to see the 12' wheels on it. The Gold 15' wheels were the first Tempest type mag ordered from Performance. Try starting it, with one pump on the gas before you key start, then wait before you try giving it more gas. And you may have dramas with the 2L radiator not allowing the car to warming up in the cold. I bet it won't overheat in traffic. If you PM me your address i can send you down some goodies for ya. Good luck with it. Mark

Looks can be deceiving, I thought it looked pretty sweet too, but never judge a book by it's cover ! It doesn't overheat in traffic cos it doesn't even go at the moment. Its not starting at all, just getting a click at the solenoid ? First the battery, then the alternator, then the starter motor, and now the solenoid.......... I fix one thing and then something else breaks down, what next ? Can you give me any clues ??? It should be painted yellow ... cos its a lemon

Neat looking ride mate! Looks very period. I even love the bump strip down the side. Sounds like you're experiencing the joys of owning an old car. Don't give up, you will get on top of it & then you will be able to start enjoying it. Remember it could be worse, you could be working on old cars all day long!
