Wow some serious brakes you have there!
Love the color too. Great to see another Mk1 live and being restored to such a high standard. No doubt it will be driven nice and hard once it's finished too!!

Thanks for the kind comments guys, just happy that its getting close now to running.
Dont know about the driving hard part but that thought may change when i do get to drive it for the first time.

Should be back in 2weeks time and then the engine and gearbox will be going in and start to get wired up so hopefuly should see it running by next year sometime, fingers crossed.

Looking great. Hope your tyres are a decent compound with those brakes

Well i got my car back 3-4days ago and am happy with the way its all coming together,
so thought i would give it a wash and a polish to get some better photos of the wheels and tyres.
Now that its back can start finally putting it back together so it will start looking like a car again.
Should hopefuly have the engine and gearbox in around february and then start running some of the wires, the goal
is to have it running sometime this year.







iam still undecide about what mirrors to run, either the bullet ones which i will be running a passager side one if i go with them or the standard colour coated one. Your thoughts?

Quick update,

Engine and gearbox got rebuilt and are now back in for good.
Just slowly piecing it back together, hope to see it running sometime this year.

Hey man howd you get the drop tank set up? Its a custom job by the looks of it! How many liters is it?

Hey bud, yer its a custom job and holds about 60-7-ltrs also has an inbuilt swirl pot.

Hey Mate, Looks like your esky is coming along great!  Love the drop tank, makes me want to do the same, will you run 98 or E-85. What sort of power you looking for?
