yer there not the smallest of all engines, but i was talkin about your brake and clutch reservoir bottles but i was think also thinking about mounting the washer bottle on the inside no like it will be used anyway, pic would be good cheers. Shea: yer thats what i first thought but he reckons it wont suck the oil, still reckon it might but thats the legal way of doing it instead of a catch can, iam tryin to keep it legal as possible. but if it does suck the oil iam gonna have to run a catch can and just hope they dont look at it. AndrewMk1: yer they look good but the expenssive little bugers, his a better pic of it for you. cheers

mmm those unis do look good. hope it works out for you with the blowby situation, i dont see why a catchcan is illegal? what if a catch can is plumbed back into the motor??
still, looks real neat the way youve done it

the only illegal thing i could see with a catch can is if it is vented to atmosphere. but id imagine it would be fine solong as its vent back into intake.

yer if i ran a catch can with a little air filter on it then the gases would be goin into the atmosphere therefor classin it as illegal. Mine is no different to making a catch can legal as you still need to plump it back into the intake, just means that there would only be one line going back to the intake instead of two like how mine is.
The other reason why i didn't go with a catch can was because i couldnt really fit one as i dont have much room when everything is in there, but in saying that i still reckon i might have to get one as i reckon there might be a chance it suckin the oil under boost.
cheers

hey, nar nothing to major has been done, so far have just put my front mount back in, half cage in, got my window surounds polished and put back on, door handles and locks on and thats about all.
lately i have just been buying parts, iam still waiting on new front and rear windows which i have nothing but dramas with, got all new side glass but cant get the front window right, have be waiting on parts to come from the uk but haven't seen them yet, so its a slow process in putting it back together.
but it goes in around the start of next year to get the diff fitted and ill look at buying my brakes soon.
will post some pics up soon

just read this from start to finish, what an immaculate job[:p] have you thought of putting your reservoir bottles under your guards behind each headlight? chucked mine under there.

cheers bud, very very slowly gathering parts just getting a tad over looking at it in the Shead, gets a bit dissapointing. I am now actually thinkin of running them on the inside right up underneath the dash and just making a fully sealable perspex box to put them in, although it will be illegal but dont think cops will notice it.
do you have any pics of where youve mounted yours by any chance?

thats a good idea but unfotunaly i would like to keep cutting holes in to it to a minimum.
i dont mind where they are but they just look a bit out of place thats all, and theres nothing on the outher side to balance it out so thats why i might put them on the inside of the car.
appreciate your help and pictures mate, all help and tips/info is appreciated.
Thanks Dayne
