thanks guys,
i would like to run E85 at one point but for now ill run 98. Yer i orginally didnt want to go that way with the tank but got talked into plus puts more wieght over the rear, so in the end glad i went that way. Iam hoping to see 350rwhp with the standard head, but i have a spare head that ill get worked and cams once its running.
with a bit of luck iam hoping to see it running around september, all glass is finally in, wired up head and tail lights, and ready to be sent down to get tailshaft, radiator and exhaust made.

well been a while sence my last post, my plan to get it running by the end of the year was close and in reach until i had engine dramas. All the exhaust got finished off along with a few other things and then went off to the auto electricians and all was looking good untill they started it. Extremly long story short ran for 10min made a bad chain slap noise and air intake temp was reaching 90deg plus befor turning it off. Turned out to be a few things wrong with the engine along with a crack in bore number one. So devostating but its happened so just gotta keep on going to get it done, have a new engine getting built and hoping to see it back in and running late January ealry February with a bit of luck. here's a picture of it the day i got it back befor i pulled the engine out, its not completly finished. Vacuum lines were just done roughly as forgot about them and few other bits and pieces need to be cleaned up but 98% of it will look the same when it goes back in for hopefuly the final time.

Finally got the engine all back in and together a few weeks ago , few little things have changed but nothing to big. Got the tapet cover repainted after people scratched it on me but turned out way better. All the vacuum lines have been ran properly now and a few other little bits and pieces have been sorted out better then what they were before.
I wanted to start it at home before it got sent away to get tuned so I started it with the old start up tune that it had in it. It carried on and struggled to start but managed to get it started due to this engine having cams and the last one didn't.
Should be getting tuned in the next couple of weeks if I get motivated to organize it. Fingers crossed I have a bit more luck this time around

hey guys, finally my car somewhat runs, manage to get it down on Wednesday to get tuned. ended up making 248 on 13psi but have a few problems to sort out. first one was the alternator wasn't charging so as it was getting high in the rev range the fuel pressure was slighty dropping and the injectors where only at 75% of there duty cicle. 2nd problem was that it was only starting to build boost at 5500rpm which I think my cat is cactus. Iam happy that it somewhat runs now and the new engine seams to be running fine. Hope to have the problems sorted out then back to the tuner, hopefully in time before he goes to America for a month. don't know if the video will work as its on face book http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=567461436618394

small update, think boost problem is sorted just waiting to hear back from my alternator to see If that's buggered. But to see if its boosting right had to take it for a drive round the block and to the fabricators house :) so happy to take for the smallest of drive and wish you could drive with the bonnet off all the time just going to focus on getting it registed before I send it to get tuned again
