MKII 2dr SR20DET

Hi guys have posted a few comments on here now thought better let everyone know what's happening..

It all started one drunk night sat on the laptop having a couple of beers with a mate watching the Friday night footy and searching ebay!!
I spotted a 2dr eski not far from home---ahh we'll chuck a bit on, but wont get it.....

The next morning i awoke with a head ache, and thought OH poo poo!! what did i bid on last night...and now i have a mkII 2dr in the garage.

It is now sitting on stands in the garage firewall cut out, due to rust in the bubble and wall.
Purchases
* sr20det,5speed,apexi ecu, some big ass turbo!!(i'll get the mods listed soon)
* hilux diff
* intercooler
* big brakes kit ebay

Plans are to have a nice clean,quick road car with a visit to eastern creek drags every now and then.

I will get some pics up soon
-thanks to everyone for help already

    with that turbo and other accessories you should be aiming for at least 250kw at 15psi+ . thats going to to be hard work keeping it in a straight line!

    Shea Man,
    Things not going to bad...
    andy(510 Pom)on here moded my x-member and the sr20det sits in nicely

    still got alot of fabricating work to do to firewall and trans tunnel,this wont be getting done in a hurry unless i can get hold of my mates welder

    Radiator???
    good question here i have no idea might have to be a custom job, i removed the main crank pulley and the father inlaw took a bit off the front as not going to to need a/c or pwr steering belts, so gained an extra 25mm or so.I am trying to get intercooler/radiator/thermo's...all behind the grill so looks stock.
    had to grind a bit out in the front(i will have to get some pics up)

    Intercooler
    Got it off ebay, just an sr20det aftermarket one, some guys thought it would fit his 180sx but didn't think bout $80 bucks but fits in well i'll take some pics of the too.

    Brakes
    I am looking at the brakes now wondering do i go disc or leave drums...think i need disc for sure so yeah cant help you out with this atm, but i remember someone on here saying that craft differential’s make a bracket to bolt r31 callipers to a hilux diff

    cheers for getting back to me barney, i too am looking to fit thermos radiator and intercooler behind the grill for a stealth look. ive read up on the machining of the crank pully and seems like a go, but only the first one of the three can be removed because of the harmonic balancer correct?
    im going to see how the drums handle and go from there. i think you will be surprised how well they pull up

    Hey guys just going put the idea up here i have search heaps of other forums and cant get a direct answer...
    The sr20det, as everyone knows the Gti-r came with quad throttle bodies,but its fwd..
    I may be able to get hold of some pretty cheap, question is how much work is neede to make them fit a rwd???
    From looking at it the plenum goes the wrong way so would need a custom chamber but dosent look like to many hassle?? the manifold to the block looks like all holes will line up

    Anyways i'm gonna put this on boost crusing aswell but just wondering of peoples thoughts...

    thanks
    Barney
