Re the yellow and black label for the jack:

The yellow and black label for the jack was copied from the scissor type jack which was fitted to my RS2000 May 1980 build purchased brand new, which I still own.

Both the collapsible ratchet type jack and the scissor type jack were OEM fitted to the MK2 Escorts.

Peter with the scissor jack as standard equipment, did your car have the 'jack usage' sticker Tim supplies inside the boot lid?

Yes had the scissor type jack and the jack usage label as Tim has correctly supplied inside the boot lid.
