V8GFISH Capri Perana
Hi guys, My names Daryl and this is my Capri. I've had her for a couple of years now and have been slowly tidying it up. I'm currently redoing the motor as a valve decided to give one of the pistons a kiss, so a full motor rebuild has begun. It's really a great excuss to put a few more horses behind it  Look foward to meeting you all

Holy shamoly, that is noice Daz!!  Oh, and welcome to the forum.  Did you buy her here or import it yourself? I remember the first one I saw for sale in Unique Cars maybe 8 years ago? The guy had imported it and was asking about $16 grand for it! [:-(]

Hi guys, Thanks for the welcomes Mud; I brought it off a guy who had imported it a couple of years back who had to make room for renovations so he had to sell, my luck . Modena; i've not heard about the 40th gig in Wagga, is there a site i can check out info etc? Sounds good but have to play it by year, mmm ya got me thinking [%]

Yeh it was featured in the March 08 edition, they did a great job.
I think the guy i got mine off has imported about 4 or 5 over the years and he was going to keep the one i got because it was very original but had to sell for renovation reasons
What size motor is in your Capri race car?

Yes it's the factory colour scheme(daytona yellow with black stripes) but i'd say she's been touched up over the years as the paints in pretty good nick for a 36 year old car

So much juicy gear you can get for a v8 at reasonable cost. I wish the same could be said for the v6. Nice work Daz.[^]
