I was trying to work out how you did the runners that go to the back from the centre hoop; but dont worry i saw some of your photos.
You were right about no room.
So you have the runners go to the wheel arches, did you make this up or did you but it as a kit?
BTW those 15" superlites look tough, you have done a great job
cheers

I had a haircut like that once.  Shaved head with really long fringe.  Looked awsome!

Great shots too.

cage is made by bond roll bars in nsw, bought it as a full cage kit but have only gotten around to fitting the rear section, you mount the main hoop where ever you please and have to cut and weld the rear legs and platforms to suit, yes they go to the wheels tub with large metal pads either side of the tub.

not alot had happened with this recently, been driving it the odd weekend to enjoy the noise thats about it.

end of may tho im doing another decca drift skills day with a few mates in escorts, 4 of us in total so there should be some good pictures of them all in action soon

meanwhile managed to get a few more photos from the photographer who was there last year when i went.
these photos show how much roll that car had before i did the rear coilover setup, hoping to get some good pictures for comparison soon.

Decent tyre deflection, still didnt pop the bead tho

can see daylight

need more of this

Zac, That was also before you were making the ridiculous power you have now!

It will be good to see the difference

Cheers

well weekend is done and dusted, was a good day or beating on the car. Gearbox survived the punishment somehow and i distroy almost 2 pairs on brand new tyres

my setup for the day, first time towing, this is a picture from the return trip

first photo i have found from the day, decent smoke

Looks like fun Mish.

Towing is the way to go, can push harder on track that way

yeah towing made the weekend a bit easier, as the car developed a nasty fuel leak from around the tank filler area. i was pooped from a full days driving so on the trailer she went. better time spent at the pub rather than fixing it on the side of the road.

as u can see from the before and after pictures from the 2 days ive done i think i have mostly sorted the issue with the car picking up the front inside wheel, car also felt alot more predictable to drive and felt less aggressive during the switch in direction and stuff

Looks like lots of fun. What are your next plans for the car? Or happy just to enjoy it now it's sorted?

Who are your days through at decca? Cost? Pm me if you want. Will be looking at getting out and having a play once I sort my car out.

Car always looks well presented,
