ok, so got it running today started first go,abit rough but thats not a problem its geting dyno tuned ASAP,I just had to get it running well enough to get to the all ford day in the next few weeks.

The head has 44.5,38.5 stainless valves, extensive porting and polished chambers, double valve springs,Im told!!!! a RL33 cam(but Im yet to doctor it) ajustable cam wheel.
The 40mm dellortos will have to do for the pinto as Its only a road car and dosent require absolute top end power,I would prefer low/mid torque than a crazy reving pinto, this cam may not suit the job,we will see how it drives.
Just from this afternoons effort its snappier than its ever been so after a tune Im sure i will be happy with the result.

It has abit/lot of blow by and the there was a step in the bores($122 engine on ebay) so the new(original block) engine cant be built quick enough.
which will have this head,a rebore, lightened flywheel, balanced, etc.

see how it goes

Cheers
Dave
