Mk 3 Ive brought

You might have seen it on eBay - 1986 2.8 injection - I got it 4 $5000 - registered and all. I drove it down from Brisbane the other day - really went well - 1768 k's - the longest trip ill bet the old girls ever had!
Strip it down Saturday, rust being welded up Sunday, Monday & Tues - prepping the body.... & the following week - I hope - in 4 a re-spray!

The guy gave me 2 NOS guards & an apron with it (& a few other juicy bits..)

It was a good trip - a lot of people r still keen on them - nearly every time i stopped people came up to look at it. The injection V6 is really tractable - smooth - it ran sweet. I hate to strip it down but there is enough rust to demand a respray - but - this time Im not going to hang around - get it done realllll quick like!

Same colour/ same decals - only a couple of minor mods.......

Looks like a fantastic buy for $5k!!

If I had of seen it I would have given you a bit of competition.

Stripped the pass side guard off (rusty) - Im really lucky here - no rust at all to the bulge btn the wheel arch & door - only 2 minor patches required - one the back of the head light bucket & one on the vertical face to the inner guard - up top - very clean

I really like this car - a real buzz! The old RS will be sitting 4 a while - I really want to get this one finished ASAP!

Actually, the other Mk 3 i have is on its side in the pic - I have an X pack kit ready 4 it - the sheet metal guy is going to resurrect the shell - a fair bit of rust - ready 4 it to be fitted.....
