Hi

Year, 1968
Model, Cortina 240
Colour, Polar White
Engine, 1600cc x-flow
Transmission, 4 Speed Manual
Suspension, Std with nolthane bushes in the front
Wheels and Tyres, restored std with falcon hub caps, pirelli tyres
Brakes, Std
Interior, Standard (apart from stereo and voltmeter and fluffy dice)

General, 3 owners from new, 1st owner from new until july 06 ,the 2nd owner had it for 2 months , i've owned it since sept 06, I've been slowly getting things done, the first job was a service and then fixing the screen wash (this is a daily driver), replaced the clutch and rear main seal, repainted the wheels, fitted new bushes to the front suspesion and new front wheel bearings, converted to an alternator and fitted a voltmeter and a larger battery, replaced the mirrors, installed a c/d player, built a rear shelf and fitted sony speakers, recently mounted a sub box and amp. New steering wheel just been fitted

Future plans, , new speakers for the front, rebush the rear springs, etc...

    looks very good mate. i have a 4dr that i am sprayin white within the next month chuckin some 15 inch stockies on it and white walls. lower it and it will be a nice cruiser.

    This thing would be th ultimate cruiser with some bigger wheels and a few inches lower to the ground, keep up the good work

    Update
    new steering wheel fitted,(pics below)
    new lower ball joints fitted,
    front springs lowered,
    dash pad removed for repair,

    Nice car i live in Perth WA. as well i may be going to the whiteman park show as well if i am in Perth when it is on.

    Hey nice car! Spending money in all the right places, and the car is really looking wild. Keep the white steels they are sensational....but with a little searching you may find a wide set.

    Keep em white and you'll ave a proper Sarf Lundun looking Mk 2!

    240corty. Yes i was there, at the show, me and the rest of the club. Its not that often that i get a chance to go to the Wednesday meetings because of work :( but i do try and get to the shows when im on R + R, may get to see you and cor(tina) then.

    I was also at the AFD. My RS was parked with teh Racetune display. Mine was the yellow one. Some very nice cars there, not enough small Fords though.
