Just cleaning underside & about install engine, donkey before me put in a new Auto tunnel so no gearbox mountings(is there much difference in these from manual to auto? I have a auto wreck which l can cut out mounts.

Hardest part was cutting the donor floor out. I think as for welding in easier than the rear quarter rust hole

yes, sprayed it in Garage & going to do whole car myself in 2pak in a booth, looking forward to the challenge.

Hey John
Nice to see it coming along. What did you work out for the gearbox cross member? My green car had the same problem where even an auto one was too short. I ended up making one and then plating it through the floor.
I should have the yellow RS ready by the end of the year so perhaps both cars will be completed in time for Small Ford Sunday next year!

It will be there at small ford finished or not!! Went & had a look with a friend at an RS2000 his oldman might buy, so now keen to get this thing finished. I welded in the gearbox mounts out of the Ghia i had. Send us a update pic of yours?

Hi Guys, I thought i would put up some update pic's. Hired a Booth yesterday & finally painted the car. If you are looking at doing this contact Reece or Ozzie at Bodyshop Paint supplies in Bayswater, these guys are great as they give you all the advice you need. I will put up some more once i mount headlight & Nosecone. Stoked how it came up(not bad for Amatuer).     Just have to get cash to do Interior. JOhn
