That damper is a neat bit of gear Mark.
What sort of Cams are you looking at ? Are there any plans to improve on the existing manifolds ?
Cheers, Damion.

There is not much room to move with cams as my pistons are the standard item and the more agressive cams must be combined with scalloped pistons. I don't want to pull the engine down to do this until it needs a freshen up... There is no rush to change inlet and exhaust manifolds yet. I want to do some port work first, the car is running well right now so I will drive it for for a while and then look at taking the head off to have some work done.

It will be interesting to see how you go. Good to hear that the car is still going strong any way Mark. It is a real credit to you.

Undecided with cams, but have limited options unless I change the pistons, so there is no rush.

Damn straight. It doesnt matter how long my car spends off the road..... how much money goes into it..... Or how much stress it causes..... that first push on the throttle and that thrust back into the seat makes it all worth it. EVERY TIME!
