My First Car

Dunno if I have posted pics of this up here before or not, But thought I might stick a couple of my first car.

Bought it for in 97 for $500 and it came with 2 spare complete 4 doors. Plus I had a van and a 2 door for parts. I built it over the 3 months between the end of year 11 and the start of year 12. Thrashed it for a year and sold it.

that's a very nice colour and looks like a very good job.

I'm hoping mine might look as new again one day.

Came up ok for tractor paint.

$50 for 4 litres, industrial enamel. Only comes in Blue and John deer green. That Pictures actually the bad side, the other side has a real glassy gloss to it, and thats straight off the gun :-) lol... just thinking about how she'll be right the hole painting thing was. All the priming and rubbing down was done in the back yard, then we shoved it on a trailer, raced it down to the old mans work, (only because they had a big shed) laid on a few coats. Let it sit under lights for the afternoon, then pushed it back onto the trailer and took it home.
