escort1600 that looks tuff as mate. if only i wanted to spend money on the corty i would do something like that.
mk2maniac they are a nice little car white always looks good on old cars like these. im thinkin of a pin stripe down the middle of the car either red or black. to split the white a little.

Like I said, I hope your replacing the rotten metal, not just bogging it. Believe me, you'll want to replace it, there's a lot more rust in that car than you think. My old one had no visible signs of rust on the exterior, but it was diseased all through it. I'd suggest you pull the car apart completely and have it chemically dipped or blasted to remove all the crap so you can see where it all is and replace it, or at least spend the time and strip it right back yourself. ANd that includes all underneath it.
But then, that's just me thinking you're doing a complete rebuild and therefore building it to show quality, but you're not are you, it's a general tidy up to make it a daily right?

I bet if you pulled the front guards off (wouldn't recommend it though since they're spot welded on, and you can't really get them off without making a bit of a mess of them) and the sills (probably don't want to replace them completely either) there would be plenty more rust. I thought my old one only had a little bit in the floor, but I was wrong. Feel up under the front guard above the headlight/corner of the grille, it's likely that there's a bit of rust there, because there's a little crevice (classic British design feature).
Remember (though I'm sure you're fully aware) it's a 40ish year old car, rust proofing was virtually non existent back then.

looks good mate. i wish it was that easy to. but luckily there is only 3 holes that i have to fix on it so should be alright. with a few welds. The floor on the driver side is ok bar one little hole and the passenger side is fine.
