Looks like you have put some long hours into her. That rear end looks tidy good workmanship..
It does appear that this vehicle will be a little weapon when complete I spose you might want it be if it is replacing the GTR..

g'day mate,

what's the latest update on the corty. Have you managed to sort out the rear yet? I think it has given some inspiration to some other guys i know that own mk1 cortinas. Both of your cars are awesome. The conversion is lookin real good.
Ive been catching up with some of the other guys in the Hunter British Ford Group and their cortinas. Lotus mk2, 2 and 4 door mk1 and 2 GTs, etc. I reckon theyd love both of yours. I think there a good resource if your after any info, parts etc.
A few of us were in the Hill climb two weeks ago and it has given me and another guy an itch to scratch. The SR might be racing up a few hills in the up and coming season.
Will have to catch up again sometime for a run when your sorted out[88]

That paint work and the wheels just set it off.. BEAST! How reliable will it be with sr20 in it. I am sick of tightening stuff on my old pinto. I think you have made a good choice on SR powerplant

A good inch at the front will be needed[;^)]

How do you go with the exhaust at the rear if you lift the car on a 2 post hoist? Does the diff rest on the exhaust?
