Hi guys,
Sorry no updates lately guys...
Lots on with children, house extensions and work.
She may be on the market cos have no time to work on Her and to much to do with My children . Am finding it very frustraiting and so hard trying to juggle all of it and feel that the corty is a bit of a waist in my hands for the next few years...

Don't get rid of it Coop. I sold my twin cam Escort when I had kids and have regretted ever since.

Awesome build Scott! I do like these corties when they're boosted hehe, it seems everyones putting turbo 2L's in Small Fords now :) well other then Phil but he's an exception lol.
Hey if you'd be interested, wanna send me some good hi-resolution photos of the build? We can put them into Zoom in the "in-the-build" section and then once it's complete probably a feature!

my emails matd@streetfords.com.au

Let me know! :)

Hi guys,
Almost finished outside of our house, Lots left to do yet though!![:-(]
Kids are getting older and more expensive as well, Dont know what to do with Corty...:-(. How much longer should I hold on to her?? Should I let her go??? Really have no time for her atm and dont see any time for next year maybe two. Guys I know that I wouldn't get much really for Her at this stage of build but any ideas what I should ask if it comes to that would be appreciated.
Cheers Scoop.

Hi Darren,

Still the same advice from my end Just leave it in the shed unless your heart isnt in it anymore. If its still your passion, it will still be there in a few years when time/finances allow for more playing. I had 2 break periods with my corty both of about 2-3 years each time...quite often you will have some better ideas or solutions to different area's of the car over the time your not working on it. If your over it and never want to have several hundred horsepower sitting in the garage ready for a joy ride then moving it on wont be hard. My guess is that it will be staying

Cheers,

Phil.

I agree with Phil, my Group A has been in the shed for over a year and not been touched in the last 8 months at least due to health issue's Etc Etc, and even though i'm totally fed up with it a the moment it's not going anywhere even if it takes another 5 years to finish off.
Just dust it off when your ready, as we loose to much in selling such projects, not just money but i feel i loose a small part of myself if i let a project go before i can complete it

Last photo's...

And here comes the hard part, Thanks to all You guys who have watched the build and responded to My thread. All very nice guy's. I put it out there without any real advertisement and had someone approach Me with an offer and I took it. This fellow is quite focused and a true enthusiast. I cannot wait to see future developments.
I was not going to post this and just close the thread but I owe people on here that have followed the build many thanks for their input and support.
One dream has ended, but another has started(My children).

THE END

Cheers Scoop [8~2]

Nice work with the house!!!
you had a very nice cortina! but hey... i don't think your old corty will give you half as much joy as the children!!!
Probably a smart move to sell.... but you will get the itch again! :-D we all do!
