Here's a short vid of a Little project i've been working on over the last few weeks!

haha yeah, she's a very taily little rig, but i tried to get the all the handling and engine maps as close as possible to the real thing, and used the actual sounds from a BDA escort on youtube haha

She's definatelly a fun little car to throw around

Nice, didn't realise there were other people on the forum into sim racing. I hardly get a chance anymore, but i raced rfactor with v8 supercar mod when that first came out. More a nascar/gpl/lfs person myself if youve tried those. The physics engines are very different, and the nascar based engine always felt a little more natural to me.

Have you tried richard burns rally? Its a good rally sim too and id love to see your bda mk1 in that!

Yep, another sim racer here. Currently racing a V8 supercar season, and about to start an F1 season. Both in Rfactor. Comps run by www.thecyberconnection.com.au

Stevie, I wish you had done a Mk2, as there are heaps of RS1600's for Rfactor. Isn't yours car No.5 from the Historic Rally mod?

maxrs, you might want to get your credit card out, so its ready when you recognize this track...

My apologies for the image quality. I figured it best to make the files as small as possible for Dload. In the game itself they look schmik.

Vanman! yes my little girl is from the HRC mod, and i've been "tweeking" the settings, sounds etcetc for a while now lol, a Mk2 rs1800 (flat nose) and rs2000 is on the cards, so we'll be hooking into that once i have this bda perfect

That is absolutely fantastic news, I just can't wait. There are not enough Mk2's in games. We need more :D

If I can help in any way possible, let me know.

Hey just a note for the Rfactor racers here.. You might already have a flash 3 pedal controller, but if not, perhaps you have an old wheel lying around. I just plugged in an old spare wheel so I could use its pedal box, and now I have a clutch It really brings the escort to life... Way cool.

Touring Car legends doesn't look like it'll be ready until late this your, early next year, and no plans of a beta version either

mind you the rs500 is definately and awesome machine to drive!

Vanman, i run a Logetech G25 and i gotta say it's one of the best steering wheels available, with clutch break and accel pedals and full H pattern shifter it makes it more realistic, although i miss a gear here and there when i'm getting carried away haha

Nice, I do play rFactor as well, but not often (as I usally play FPS) but I am wanting to make a mk2 RS2000 for rFactor.

EDIT: If anyone knows of any good links on how to make cars for rFactor that would be great. All I seem find is on making tracks, I want info for exporting a model and textures to the rFactor fileformat.
