Tarmac Arched 2lt

Hi guys

This is my 2.0lt coupe as it stands today

[img]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/punk_rockin_kid/MkIICoupeProject-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
[img]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/punk_rockin_kid/MkIICoupeProject-11.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
[img]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/punk_rockin_kid/MkIICoupeProject-2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">
[img]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/punk_rockin_kid/MkIICoupeProject-8.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">

The plans so far are to fit a full set of (front and back) Alloy Forest arches, alloy front spoiler and alloy rear spoiler, then complete re-spray in Lamborghini orange, very similar to this colour (it's also based on the lambo orange)
[img]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/punk_rockin_kid/2909_6lo.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket">

Then Re-Build the engine, fit the T9 5 speed, fix the interior and get it on the road.
Then slowly start doing it up, thinking about some sort of an engine conversion, not too sure as to what yet but thats all a long way off

But it is happening which is exciting

I was told there would be about a 2-3 week wait on the arches, there coming from the U.K. so i'll post some more pics once there on.

    Hey Barney

I got them from a place in the uk called alloy racing fabrications, forget how much they cost but they were cheaper and it showed! If you want to go alloy arches i would recommend spending a little more and go with one of the more reputable companies.

In saying that there is nothing wrong with mine and i am certainly more than happy with the outcome but if i was to buy them again i would try someone else!

Hope that hasn't put you off[(#)]

    Cheers

thought i might put up a few more pics:

well know that the arches are almost done, looking for a falcon lsd disc brake diff, then the new wheels (im going with the American Racing Torq-Thrust II, just to be different), then front brake upgrade then fit 5spd Sierra gearbox and reco'd motor with Single 45DCOE weber and THEN take everything back out and off, strip it back and give her a lick of paint[:x)] and once thats all done i've got the suspension to worry about, i also want to put in a adjustable pedal box with hydraulic clutch, so SMCKA i'll hopefully be placing an order with you in the not to distant future!
Then there's the interior to do and the list goes on and on!!

Thanks for all the comments and support!

Well, the day before i go to pick her up i get fired from my job, no warning or nothing!!

So now i owe the panel beaters lots of $$$ and have no way to pay for it!!!

I'm looking for EOI, i will sell everything i have with it

The Shell, reco 2lt engine, 45 dcoe and manifold, Sierra 5 speed box and new clutch and everything else that i have collected along the way!!

This is very much a regretful sale, i don't know how much it's all worth but i need to cover my costs so it all has to go.
I don't want to split it all up because i need the money now but if i get enough serious buyers all at once then i might consider it!

I will post some more photos of the car and other stuff.

I also have a running MkII 1.6lt Ghia for sale

If you want to send me an e-mail, my address is mb_newby@hotmail.com
    or call me on 0431345878

    Thanks
