'78 Yellow Sport 2L

The lastest addition to the back yard, picked it up this mourning.
Not running, rust in the rear arches and heater bubble. Bottom of the rad panel has been pushed in badly. Came with a spare gear box as wellImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

Apperently the gear boxes are in good condition which is good especially the box in the RS needs replacing at some point. The engine has no compression and has a mild cam in it. The was also an alloy cam cover .
The wheels are 14invh rear spoiler is near new condition.
    It cost $200

nice. looks just like my yellow one but with 2 extra doors.

those front bumpers will cover the price you payed for the car.

    great pick up.

I found out that it is a rally pack, and the pistons are stuffed. I think they have cracks in them but they do have extra metal thats been melted on to them. So there is going to be a combo of my old engine from the RS and its engine to get it going again.
The heater bubble is stuffed (no surprise there) my brother already has plans to repaint it and has found out at his work what the paint is.
    It has a ghia dash
For a while most likely after all the repairs are its going to be a party car and I happen to live less then 1km away from the dirt roads of Mt. Barker
Im getting the drivers seatbelt and the rear spoiler and put them on the RShttp://img405.imageshack.us/img405/9481/p8280050wp0.jpg" border="0" alt="

Its always hard to tell. The decals are definately aftermarket. The rest of the stuff is basically bolt on, bolt off. Does it have wiring for spot lights in the std loom? It has the bumperettes, spoilers and dash by the sounds of it. So it probably is a Rally Pack. But it doesn't matter either way because it was a bargain!

    'P' is Pine & Lime

Perhaps it was repsrayed a non standard colour? Would explain the aftermarket stickers?
