gt500

no sorry not a cortina but it got your attention didn't it (phil if your reading this sorry haven't got the battery detail still, been off and haven't been able to get about)

just a shot of my mates new car, possibly going to run it in targa next year too, he isnt sure just yet. the shots are taken at the dealers as he isnt picking it up until after work today (lucky bugger)

he is going to take some more (make that better) pics in the next couple of days so will post them up...

    only draw back for now is the car is in Dubai! wont be in Oz permantly for a few years yet. pity. but by the time it gets here it will be nicely modded with lots more grunt (not that it really needs it!)

    the gtx1, very nice. a "normal" gt would do me fine!!!

    Andy had the car less than an hour and picked up his first speeding ticket. then scared his wife after picking her up from the airport. both in the first day. day two, after doing a 150mph to 0mph stop he killed the brakes. talk about running it in!

    he said it does 80mph in second and that is only just reaching 5000rpm, so two new things are going to be ordered i think this week, a single peice prop shaft and a 3.7 diff...
