Hehe, yeah I am not used to being stumped on the net, I spent an hour or two scouring the place for info last night. Nothing.. And now I'm extra curious. Nigel seems to know something about it tho, so I am hoping he has the missing info :D

Vanman i dont the full story on the car, but what i do know is:

1. looks terrible!
2. panel gaps that you could stick your head in
3. wasn't built by ford

Ive been trying to find the link about this car that i spotted on turbosport forums a while back, will post it when i find it.

What i have heard though is ford working on a global mid-size RWD platform, that will probably be produced in 2 continents, and not seen in production until after 2012. This is NOT it though! ...and thank goodness for that!

Reminds me a little of the RS200 in the front...
Just a little though.
It looks like the product of drugs and fibreglass to me[88]

You know what......the car looks like a horses arse, but I'd buy one.....I am after all a Diehard Cortina man.....and that would look good next too my old skooler.

Hell write Cortina on a transit and I'd buy it[88]

Interestingly the flares are all Ford Focus.....and that window treatment is familar.....but I can't put my finger on it. My guess is the Ford PR dept did this to an old 4x4 rally Fiesta....and showed it at Goodwood to generate interest.

....actually. nope I hate it......pass me the puke bag.

I Dont mind it, i guess when you have a classic ford.. and you have been a fan of it for ages you dont want anything to change. It's modern and new.. i bet the people who make these concepts are not true classic supporters [:x)]
