The engine bay could use a once over. Other than that, it looks very tidy. I hope it is reliable for you.

hey guys,
th engine bay is one of the things i plan on cleaning up. mainly replacing old worn parts and cleaning it, going to remove rocker cover and get it painted maybe sandblasted first. she is off to the mechanics in a couple of days for a check up and maybe sort out the carby problem other then that its looking heaps better then when i got it.
the sunroof is aftermarket and they guys before me did a rush job and leaks under the sealant they used, so this is being scraped offf and replace with some good weather proof stuff.
other general items to be done are:
- seat covers (untill i can afford to get recovered) - a good vacuum - carpet and underlay in the back - stereo eventually - colour the door cards black
other then that i hope for my sake that she is reliable as well lol

Hotwires always looked right on eskys. Looks neat. What wheels are you going to put back on the 4 door? Found this in the collection. She doesn't look impressed. No meat pie either.

that pic is awesome, my mate is a van nut and would love that pic, he wants mine, he had a shmick one untill a fence and ditch took care of that
haven't really thought about what are going to go back on the 4 door. my lil bro wants me to go modern chrome or shadow chrome. maybe 5 spokers or 6? i am not really sure if i want to go that way or keep with the retro look and go hotwires again[x2x]
either way its going to be a hard choice...i saw the 4 door for the first time in a couple of weeks...oh the amount of steel that has been replaced is great hahah

good work with the van brad.... you have a done well with it.... as for trimming the rear, mine has this done and with some underlay makes the car so much quieter... considering mine is probably one of the loudest stock 2l pintos in SA, and Rhys ( rs2000mk2) will back me up on that. after quie a few different sets of rims ranging from 13" globes to 15"performance rims and even 16"Simmons fr's, i went the hubbies look on mine.... there cheap and so are the tyres... and u can lower the car over the top of it.....and u get less looks buy the cops......

thnx sundowner, i am thinking of giving the van a rub back and another coat of paint, you can't see it in the pics but is only a very light coat and no undercoat, you can see parts of the original undercoat where they have rubbed back...so i might get that done in the summer months when i can do it myself.
as for the underlay and carpet, i am not going to do too much in the back i like the spacey feel not going to put too much in there cept a tool box and a spare.
i was surprised by the loudness of my own stocky and yeah to think i was going to put a bigger exhaust on it [88] will be leaving it how it is...

Looks sweet, Brad. Nice pick up. Good to see how the van looks with the hotwires on. That's the plan for mine in the not to distant future. Hope she keeps you on the road without too much fuss!
