My Mk2 Coupe
Hey,
This is my Mk2 coupe. The interior is a little crappy but over all I'm pretty happy with the car. It's got a pinto and type 9 5 speed.
Thanks heaps to Mark D for the wheels. I love them!!
Here's some pics

Cheers for all the positive comments guys. Just need to clean the interior up a little and am on the look out for some twin 45's. The car runs really bad cold and I've taken it to two mechanics and they both couldn't fix it. One reckons he re-jetted the carby and, if he has, it's made no difference.
Cheers for the comments once again guys.

I have no real set plans I just do things as they come up. I really need to tidy the interior up. Get some new seats and rails, do something with the door trims and just give it a good overall clean.

Just a little update.
My plans have slightly changed. Originally was looking at some twin 45's, then throttle bodies but I settled for Sierra EFI. To my knowledge, the reason the car run like crap was because there wasn't enough fuel supply. So I've purchased a Wolf V4 ECU and a sierra injection kit which I'm hoping will solve all my problems!!
Now the kit has no injectors so which injectors do you guys recommend to run? I know magna injectors will fit but feel they maybe a little small. Are there any other direct replacement injectors? I read somewhere that vs/vt v6 injectors are they way to go. Does anyone know what's involved in fitting these?
Oh I would just like to thank the forum member (who i think wishes to stay anonymous) for selling me the injection kit!

Just another little update.
Car is in at the moment getting wired and tuned. Went with the Magna injectors.
And this arrived today, cost $150 shipped which I thought was very good. Although I have no plans to use it at the moment I thought I would grab it anyway.

Very tidy Escort lizard.
That's an interesting exhaust manifold.

Looks like a turbo manifold to me... that oddly familiar square opening... [;^)]
