I was distracted[:o)] That was my first attempt at using launch control[:p] You can hear it in the vid There was nothing to loose considering it turned the tyres all the way to 3rd all night[8~2] That run ended up being both our best of the night even though my clutch began slipping,it was great fun...I didn't think I was going to catch the red rocket[;^)]

Have you considered using electronic boost control, putting a switch to tell the ecu what gear its in and then have the ecu limit the boost in 1st, 2nd and possibly 3rd? That might help you get more power to ground and get a quicker launch with the same power once you get going.

    Was it silver in colour?
I am glad that Phil and I got to race each other, as it can be a bit hit and miss when you line up to race.

    Hi Andrew,

I am already using variable boost control[8~2] 12psi in 1st,18psi in second and 26psi in 3rd and up.I have a speed sensor fitted to the front and rear wheels. The ecu can control a boost solenoid,I have it switching my eboost...this allows me to manually override the ecu if I feel the need[%][:o)]

Bummer.. Better go lo-tech then, few bags of cement in the boot [88] Actually it would be interesting to see how weight vs traction affected speed..
