Who does 3D printing

Hi All,
From memory doesn't one of our members do 3D printing of parts?  I have had a plastic trim piece on the GT go missing so looking to get a reproduction done. Appreciate any info. if not too expensive might get a few done, seems to be hard to get and no other repro available. Cheers, Len.

Congrats on the new car Len, I'd be interested in someone that could help with some 3D printing, I've been hanging onto a pinto rocker cover for 20 years now with the only set of intact ignition lead clips I've ever found, I finally plucked up the courage to remove them and surprisingly all three came off in one piece.  It'd be nice to think they could be copied and passed on.

Hi Boys, I might be able to help, we have a 3D printer at work.
We will need to have a file to print them from.
I Cant scan a real object to 3d, but for the lead holder for example it should not be too hard to draw up.

Maybe take a pic, or measure up what's needed to start with.
Should be able to work something out between us.

yes, Chuff, STL file like that is what we need.
Is that is what you were after Drew?

We have PC-ABS in the machine, which should be fine.

Would be good, I did find a place that does repros, wants $70 + postage each. Does that sound expensive or should they normally be fairly cost efficient. They have made lots of them so no setup costs to cover?
Cheers, Len

This is the set I have, complete with the middle, double clip.
I'd be happy to post them for scanning providing they come back. Not interested in selling them one at a time on ebay for the next ten years, I have a day job, but if someone wanted to I wouldn't object. Its more about getting another hard to find part out into circulation again,

I have a 3D printer and 3D modelling software.  A mate of mine just bought a 3D scanner which seems to work well.  The problem with printing is the texture so I have been playing with mould making to cast parts from rubber and plastic.  I have also been looking at printing moulds, painting and sanding and then casting into the printed mould.  I am currently printing cam bearing installation mandrels because my universal tool destroyed two bearings.  I am in Perth.
