Opinions please!!!

Here is my MK 1 6 dial dash top.

Purchase price $50.00 in bad state of disrepair [:-(]

Much cracking, hairline only though, bits of vinyl missing and very faded

Cost to repair and revinyl........$295.00 [8~2]

I had a thought, (I know, this may be my first...[:I])

Why not try speaker carpet....cheap, readily available, easy to work with, range of colours and I would have a ready made dash mat protector [:p]

So, to Autobahn, $15.00 for carpet 1m x 2.5m and $10.00 for spray glue (Just like on "Overhaulin' or Pimp my Ride)
