.......you may have a glitch or virus; are all other sites perfectly easy as usual to log on ?
all good my end...........
OTHER THAN BEING WITHOUT INTERNET FOR 14 DAYS NOW THANKS TO THOSE IGNORAMUSES AT NBN
who refuse to listen to 6 techs that came to my office for nothing as they told NBN that my problem is with NBN.
Must be a "brown out" as the DOT phones are still working ok and we can get IVIEW on an IPAD, but zero WWW !
Sparks are gunna fly when I get Telstra & NBN in the "cross-hairs"
I can only send you this email coz my non-NBN ADSL at another office is working fine
AS FRIENDLY ADVICE TO ANYONE, KEEP YOUR ADSL AND DO ALL YOU CAN TO AVOID THE NBN.................
IGNORE THIS ADVICE AT YOUR PERIL.

Appears to be isolated to the Classic Ford Forum website when trying to log in as PeterM.
No other websites are affected.
Classic Ford Forum website does not recognise my PeterM user name, or password, or email address, or permit me to change password using my email address although I know are correct. Also rejects the random code displayed to prevent spam why trying to reset password although I know I am typing it in correctly.
The alert I am receiving:
This is a new feature that is available starting in 51.
Firefox will display a grey lock icon with a red strike-through in the address bar, when a login page you’re viewing does not have a secure connection. This is to inform you that if you enter your password it could be stolen by eavesdroppers and attackers.
Starting in Firefox version 52, you will also see a warning message when you click inside the login box to enter a username or password.
What can I do if a login page is insecure?
If a login page for your favorite site is insecure, you can try and see if a secure version of the page exists by typing
https://
before the url in the location bar. You can also try to contact the web administrator for the site and ask them to secure their connection.
Not recommended:
You can also continue to log in to the website even if the connection is insecure, but do so at your own risk. If you do go this route, try to use a unique password or a password that you don’t also use for other important sites.
About insecure pages
Pages that need to transmit private information, such as credit cards, personal information and passwords, need to have a secure connection to help prevent attackers from stealing your information. (
Tip:
A secure connection will have .)
Pages that don’t transmit any private information can have an unencrypted connection (HTTP). It is not advised to enter private information, such as passwords, on a web page that shows
HTTP
in the address bar. The information you enter can be stolen over this insecure connection.
Note for developers
For developers looking to learn more about this warning, please see . The page explains when and why Firefox shows this warning, and will also provide some details on how to fix the issue. For more information, see and .

Hi Beevee,
I have heard many times from many people of their troubles with the NBN.
Telstra warned me that my landline would be cut on March 9, 2017.
Although I have registered with Telstra I am still waiting to connect to the NBN after waiting three weeks.
The impression I get is they have absolutely no idea, and don't really care about providing a good service.

Is there any way of keeping connected to the copper phone lines?
When talking to Telstra and continually hearing of people's experiences the NBN appears to be a significant step back to a time when NOAH was a lad.

My experience with NBN was shocking. Riverstone had all copper lines cut and we were told to hook up to NBN. After six months my business still had no phone line or internet. We struggled to get NBN hooked up cause of the wait. Then finally came to connect and the tech said he can't run it to the office as the cable needs to be bent and he can't bend it so suggested someone else run it so stupid as an excuse. Finally after lodging complaints several times another team came and ran it too the office 2 months later. Success we thought then waited another month for someone to come and connect the box. After 11 months with no phone finally we had success.
Doesn't stop there though my Rental house in Riverstone had a blocked sewer and we had new tenants with young kids. We thought they were putting bad stuff down the toilet but got the sewer cleaned. Couple of weeks it happened again so plumber cleaned and thought it must be tree roots. Couple of weeks and again it blocked. So we put an inspection camera down with the plumber only to find the NBN dicks had put the NBN line right through the middle of our sewer line and are fighting them now to recoup our costs. I HATE NBN

PeterMX AKA PeterM have you tried logging on using Google Chrome, Windows Explorer or on a device, tablet/phone to see if the issue is still there.

Yay....success! Works fine with Google Chrome. Thanks blue74!
I was/am still very apprehensive to give up Firefox. They have a great add block feature which I like.

Hi Wiggy333,
Sounds like you are located not far from me.
Sorry to hear about your NBN experiences. No one appears to have a good experience.
I know ver little about the NBN.
When I phoned Telstra they told me the NBN connection relied on a modem fitted to a wall in the premises and relied on mains power and had battery back up which lasted about 4 hours if mains power failed.
Just hearing that alone made me cringe thinking how messy.

I had friends in high places. I also did the NBN test building for brick and on top of that I put bricks in their head office. Still even though they paid me for it it doesn't forgive their attitude in the past. Although it's sweet knowing they love me. Not
