The Other Half

MK1 Rear Parcel Shelf

So I'm in the market for a new Rear Parcel Shelf for a MK1 Escort. I've got a contact that provides some from VIC. The following is a link from a bloke in NSW that's selling some.

Seeing as I can't find an original NOS one I thought I'd go for one of the fibre-glass ones. Does anyone have any experience with these and do they fit nicely?

I have used one of these. The fibreglass ones fit quite well and have the original patterned finish. Molded off an excellent original. Just don't spray paint them with too heavy a coat of paint. If you're not going satin black ask for it unpainted so as not to build up another layer of paint. They come as a solid piece with no vent holes although the outline of the holes is there if you have the patience to drill & file!
