My Rides: The Escort(s) & the Runabout

This is my everyday ride, a 1997 Volkswagen Caddy, I still think its a P.O.S after coming from a range of Corolla's but it does the job and I'm the owner, not the bank

 
And then for the Fords:
I bought this 1969 South African built 1300GT in 2008 in a terrible state. Stripped it down and had a lot of work done and chopped and changed my mind a lot with what I want to do with it but I passed her on to my father now along with all the spares and parts. Was going to fit a Toyota 7AGE 16v at 1st and then the guys at the race track gave me grief so i abandoned that and then I built a 2L Pinto with flowed head, blueprinted bottom end, 300 deg crane cam etc.. then I drove a buddy's SR20 Powered SX, and then I realised, THAT is they way forward, not necessarily SR20 but a standard modern engine that makes good power. So I bought myself a 3SGE and Gearbox.. but my dad wants the Pinto in the car so I'll be selling the 7AGE setup to free up some funds..

 
And then the reason why I passed the SA 1300GT on to my dad.. 
I bought this UK Import 1969 1300GT from a friend, minus motor, gearbox, diff and wheels.. but got the car with RS1600 front struts that have been converted to coil overs with Bilstein inserts , rear turrets with Bilstein coilovers, Adjustable topmounts, and some other stuff including the spotless interior. The car had a wild 2.4 YBM in it (dry sumped the works), so the sellers words to me was "this car is known for its speed, dont go put a kak pinto or kent it, drop the 3S in", so im considering that now.. but anyway, here's some quick pics.
