running problems
Hi all. I am new to this forum although I am on several other car related forums. I have a 1958 ford anglia 100E with a 1300 crossflow and gearbox fitted. The reason I went this route is for insurance purposes for my son. He is getting very demoralised with the car because it cuts out after approx 2/3 miles of running. It begins with a splutter and then cuts out completely. I think fuel related and possibly the pump can't keep up with the demand of fuel needed. Does this sound a reasonable assumption? Also how do I set the idle screw in the carb please?
