Thats what I'm curious about.

Are there even reproduction ones available?

Worth is completely subjective. To me it's not worth anything as I don't have an RS2000 or a nose cone nor do I need or want one. To someone needing a nose cone to finish a project, it's worth what they're prepared to pay.

If it does sell at that price watch for the rush to list nose cones next week for $1000+

Maybe the price of the whole car[:x)][88][:u]

I've seen a fibreglass copy RS2000 nose at a local swap meet for $200 which needed a few small repairs. Not sure if it was worth it or not.

a nosecone, in mint condition, no cracks, splits, repairs or bog is as rare as R.H.S.When they do come up from time to time, they can reach $500-600.This one isnt perfect. How much??[xo],Tell him he's dreamin son!

Could simply be a matter of trying to raise the price of the things in peoples eyes. See if there are followup listings of nose cones at inflated prices.

Or if someone has a spare in similar condition, list it with a buy it now of $800-$900 and it appears that the newly listed nosecone is discounted by $600 from the previous one sold.

That bonnet seemed to have a dodgy re-spray, there's a rectangle underneath from a sticker of some sort.
I paid $350 for my bonnet, although it was slightly damaged.

My nose was/still damaged from what appears to be a pole hit, it also has hole's that appear to be from driving light very cleanly put in underneath the front bumper.

That was a good price, slight damage no issue though.

Damn, i knew i should have got that one from the wreckers quite a few years back for $100. I just didn't have an rs so let it slip. If i were in the market for a replacement, i would not pay more than $5-700 for a mint one.

I picked up my spare nose cone for $40 about a year ago and it's probably in the same condition as the one in that listing

A local panel shop now tell me they chucked out several good nosecones that had been in storage for many years into their waste bins five or so years ago, simply because no-one wanted them.

The "v6 air filter housing" that was advertised by TCS is actualy a mk1 cortina gt housing which has similar value. Could be the buyer new exactly what he was getting.

The V6 air cleaner was a V4 capri air cleaner, i was hoping it would come back up for sale when the buyer, tried to put it on and it didn't fit.O

Looks like ford fitted this part to both cars then, anyway this particular cleaner is now taking up pride of place in my 66 gt cortina 2door left hand drive. (Sorry way off topic)

[8~2]

I wouldn't mind finding a very good one for when I do a full resto on mine, mine has gone into a pole at some point, cracked (from the pole hit) and has the driving lights holes in it.
