nav man gps etc

who can reccomened some good brands??

as far as i knew, tomtom was the sh*t to get!

but they come with a high price tag...

i typed gps in ebay, and it came up with some dodgy korean/chinese etc ones, for like $150, but $150 is alot of money to spend on something that could last a day/not even work.

so basically has anybody bought the cheaper brands? and have any reviews they want to give??

having to buy this on a tight budget, thats all..

Your new tax deductible mobile phone will have a GPS in it.
They just don't tell you were to go. Just a blue dot making your position. Nav man do an talking application at extra cost.

If the GPS is being sold from America, it will work here.
They have a letter and number code on the side to check if they will work in Australia, because they all won't be compatible.

yeah get an iphone or a smartphone that will have the ability to have the appz that include tomtom, sygic, etc...

that way you have your phone and gps on you at all times, means not getting lost or uncontactable.

I have an iphone with Sygic maps and it works ok, though in saying this they are not the same as a stand-alone gps but no need for the multiple items.(plus you wont just leave it in the car for someone to steal)

Just my opinion

Sterlo, here is a GPS for the budget concious

Better still, you can buy the oil and filter you need while you are there to get the discount on the GPS.

Missus has a Navman many years old and works ok. Tom tom is the way to go if you have the cash.

Craig.
