my rs 2000 4dr build

hi guys newbe here and glad to be onboard.....here is a quick vid of my progress on my mk 2 1600ghia/rs2000 4dr build ready for paint this week end hopfully weather permiting due to storms in england...........regards nel

I hope the doors look just as good.

Is the wood grain dash staying? the dash could be smoothed over while it's in prep stage.

Yep, that is mine, the photo's you saw with those plates were from the previous owner, so I can't take too much credit.

I was about to ask if its an original rs2000, but seeing as you live in pomy land and they dont have 4dr rs2000s I'm going to say no. hehe.
So is that Burnt Orange or something a lil different?

teeg...............love your car and thats why i copyed it as such...........they dont do 4dr rs 2000 in england but i love um because the 4drs for practicality.......any how just going to start putting her togather this week then get it m.o.t.ed and tax then out we go...thanks for the replys guys..regards nel

Sure you are in the UK? I think I can see something that looks like sunlight in some of those photos[:p]

Seriously though, well done, she's coming up a treat. I think you have the right colour for this not so subtle project - sticks out like the proverbial dogs *****. Should put the wind up a few "purists", can't wait to hear how you go at the first gathering......

Very nice, but it needs the Aussie decals and mirrors down the side.
also, the fuel filler on the side needs to be blocked off.

Pity it's about time to hibernate the esky in the shed for 6 months.
