My Escorts....

Well for now its my old, first car so had this when i was 17 and fixed it up with the old man and had a so called mate spray it for me...It was a 1980 BC Escort Ghia...

Images are poor quality because digital cameras were only just surfaceing and they used to be terrible quality...really wish i could find all of the original film pics i took of it...

The other two are the 2dr 75 that i am now going to keep and do up, and a more door for the roof and rust repair sections for the RS and the 2dr

Nice garages/shipping containers for the cars....will eventually store the RS and the 2dr in their own containers....

Fits with plenty of room around it so you can get in and out real easy!!!

my own shed is only a tiny bit bigger then fordsy's....Lucky for me my missus parents have a little land and there are 4 containers (2 gap then 2) so yeah they are my sheds away from my shed....the gap in between is 7 metres, enough to fit 3 cars there and door opening room too...), we are hoping to one day soonish roof it so can keep things out of the weather there...

The siberian huskys name is Bruce....after the shark from finding nemo...long story, ppl laugh when they first hear his name then it is normal...Spoilt rotten as no kids...

Was looking into a different 2nd car as a 4dr RS but have decided to stay with both 2drs being the RS and '75 pic'd in the container...

One day i will have some time to be able to work on both/either of them....Soon i hope

As of tomorrow there'll be two Escorts to squeeze into my shed. Any pics of the RS yet Bryan?

Ok, the RS, these pics were taken the day after i had brought it home...hadn't touched anything on it, pretty much the same as today but have pulled bits and pieces of it like the nose cone and a couple of other things...no real progress or work has been entered into....

Ok so thats the basic RS, that needs a fair bit of work to it...my main areas of concern and where a lot of work is going to be needed:
Drivers Side

Passengers Side

Ok from these pics it would seem that the car at one stage has been lifted from a sling thru the roof and picked up by a crane or something kinking both sides of the roof, the guy before me had tried to bog this and make it look ok but as u can see the gutter is actually kinked inwards too so this would require more than likely being put on a rack and pulled back out...

Other areas:

These i will be getting from the brown more door!

Also unpictured is the rusted firewall where you could fit a small childs foot thru, this too will be acquired from the more door to replace....

When i eventually start the bulk work on the RS it will be put in the Projects section because i like to take pics of all the work done to it...

Cheers
Bryan

oh how things change......
Plans did a flip and my wallet fall open

This car now has a nice little home in the container in which the yellow 2dr was in, and it (yellow 2dr not the RS) is now going to be heading to a forum member!!

This car has some minor things i need to attend to before i will be able to get it roadworthy and on club reg. much to my disappointment, but i must press on and give it the TLC that will make it the great car it can be! Im not sure that i will keep those wheels on it so could possibly be in the for sales soon...

So another Monza Red (Auto) RS for the Sea of Red in Vic!!!
