Classic Ford Mag shoot Sydney - Cars needed!

Hi guys,

I am formulating a cunning plan to do a shoot in the NSW/Sydney metro area only for Classic Ford Magazine UK. I'm probably not going to be there, but I have one of the best photographers in the country locked in to shoot it.

I am looking to cover the Aussie Classic Ford models the UK didn't get. There are a number of cars we got that they didn't, so now's the chance to show the world our special models. The cars will need to be predominantly standard, but some minor mods will be OK.....here are some examples of potentially what I am after;

1 - Mk 2 Escort RS2000 4-door

2 - Mk 2 Escort Rally Pack 2 + 4 Doors (prefer 2L versions)

3 - Mk 2 Cortina 440L (wooden dash up-spec models)

4 - Mk 2 Cortina GT (war-paint stripe kit versions)

5 - Mk 2 Escort Sundowner panelvan

6 - TD, TC, TE, TF Cortina 6 cylinder (non and crossflow engines), sedans and wagons....and Ghia's all welcome

7 - Mk 1 Cortina GT500 (Bathurst edition) - a long shot I know, but if there's one available I will use it.

Finally.....I am also looking for a TF Cortina S-Pack or X-pack I am not sure what they were called, but all I know is they had a 6 cylinder, some funky stripes and weird 14 inch alloy rims. It's a long shot, but that will be the icing on the cake of this shoot.

I will require1 of each car only, so please email me either what you have, what you know or possible leads in the NSW/Sydney greater area. This is a chance for some of you to get featured in this cool magazine.....and be shot (picturewise[;^)]) by one of Australia's best automotive photographers.

I'm hoping to do the shoot by Christmas as it will take time to co-ordinate all the cars into one location. I am also open to suggestions to other Classic Ford 'small' models that I might have overlooked, so please post some pics etc.

Cheers in advance to anyone who offers help etc.

Thanks Phil, but I am interested in the cars mainly....not necessarily where they come from. I know this sounds a little funny, but private cars and club cars are both welcomed, it's just I'm hoping to give everyone with a suitable car a chance to be involved.

Anyone have a suitable car???????

GREN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT!!!!!!!!!

I just spoke with the Editor and the feature I am planning has been officially given the green light.....so we are on like donkey kong folks!

As outlined above, I am looking for very specific vehicles, so if you have one, know of one or have a mate with one....please contact me with pics etc....BUT! You must be in the Sydney greater area.

Phil, I probably should make my posts clearer....I sometimes confuse myself! I'm happy for vehicles to come from anywhere, and by posting on this forum, I wanted to give the people here first chance of being featured.

Please get anyone from the club to contact me as you see fit, as I am really happy to accomodate anyone I can with this story. Oh and the Editor likes my 'Where are they now' idea too regarding past Aussie feature car[;^)] So I guess I will be calling you soon then!

Cheers,

RJ

Thanks guys, all interest has been logged and I am now planning dates etc. It's not too late to be involved, so please let me know right away.

On a side note....I vote 'Topghia' as best user name for this forum in 2009![;^)] Brilliant!
