My mark II, on the road, finally =]

Well the title says it all, my cars on the road LEGALLY today.

pulled a bit of a dodgy to do it though, driving to vic roads and the temp gauge was sky rocketing, so we got a tow from a make and stopped about 20M from vic roads and then drove it in, acting like nothing happened, guy came out and inspected it all. drove out the other side and go towed home :P all fixed now though but I'm just happy its on the road =].

needs a bit of a wash but im happy

had some spare time today, took some more pics, getting my panel beating supplies this week to start on the rear end and then hopefully full re-spray.

I would be cleaning it, with some polish first[:x)]

Is it a pre pollution MK2, what year was it built?
Cleveland or SR20 should be your first decision[:x)]
Good luck with it.

its a '77, and to be honest with you I cant be screwed cleaning it up. No matter how much polish you use you cant fix that roof.

great to see those L plates. A much better choice of first car than a lot of other blokes start with. Keep it straight!

what's your plans for upgrading?

u keeping those bonnet pins on?

keep 4 stud. for simplicity

Tedidesign, thanks man funny story about the car. Dad asked me one day "So Jordan want car do you want to buy when your older", me "When I'm older pffft. Number one on my list: capri number 2: escort."

Later that week a family friend decided he was going over seas and needed to sell his shell. $750 was a lot for me a year and a bit ago but yer so happy I got it

Sterling: 4 stud isnt simple its bloody complicated [:(!] At the moment i just need to get the body into good nick. And ill probably do my interior too (that's cheap). Then the list goes on:

suspension/brakes (smcka's willwoods hopefully =]) new diff, Webers, wheels, ect. ect.

I agree with ya 4 stud is a pain in the ass. I will be converting mine when I get the flares on so i have a wider choice of wheels. Will change the rear diff to discs put a duratec in respray retrim all the interior and hey thats like a whole new car =P
