My "work" car, although it may occasionally get used for non-work related activities.

The family work horse, 250,000k's and very little love. Just had to put a new radiator in it as I cracked the original when I hit a wash out at speed on one of the local dirt roads. [B)]

Wish it was cooler.. but its just a can wrapped around the Gas reservoir for the rear WP shock.

The only real problem I see is size, but then again considering it goes faster then what some people drive a real car it would be rather amusing. I could stick a 3t BL motor in it and go well over over the open highway speed limit, in theory I've worked out how to get it over 200km/h.

@Jason, that EB is pretty much the same as the one my dad picked up for $200 and now its just sitting in the backyard. I think he is going to strip it.

Thanks for the good feedback peeps.

Yeh the Colt is pretty rare. In fact I am told it is the only 1967 Colt 1000 registered in Australia. Kinda cool.

It's funny cos I have been considering selling the Rolla, but now with people saying they like it I think I might keep it. Just got too many cars and not enough room.

Anyhow, a couple more pics for giggles-

Linton's Garage was sold to Mark Kraulis....owner of U-Pull-It yards. He restored the building, forever preserving the historical garage site for future generations.

I understand Linton's have relocated.....but to where I do not know. I once photographed an EX-Works Mk 2 Escort rally car in the middle of Linton's Garage....wonderful place in it's day, much like Aladdins Cave!

Well due to this overwhelming response to the Rolla and the fact that I spent some time behind the wheel on the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it again, I think it's best if I keep it.

No seriously........ I only had been considering selling it because I have too many cars, but I will find a way to keep them all. [:x)]

Just for fun, here's another of my old cars. Before anyone says it should have been lowered, it came factory with extremely well setup suspension, so I wasn't about to screw with it. She a Fairmont GT (South African). There's a few differences from the Aussie ones and they'll never be worth as much as an Aussie one, but who really give a rats a#$e.
This photo was taken just before i smoked her up, I have a video of that on my phone, but i don't know how to or where to upload it.
Glad you like it,
Cheers, Richo

Richo, leave the bonnet up at the back, it is from the 70s, that was all the go when I was a young lad. I have done the same on my hk monaro bonnet. I'll fina a picture and post it

Haha I know what you mean and hve thought about leaving it but every second person asks "why is there a big gap at the back of the bonnet. I usually just say it's to let the heat out.
I'd love to see your Munro, my brother just bought a HK Munro in December, then a VH Charger in Feb. Now he has one each of the 2 doors, the other is an XB Fairmont Coupe. I know jealousy is a curse but it's hard not to when he has one of each. But i suppose that's what happen with no kids. I've got the three kids and he has the three coupe's. I'm not sure if you could call that equal or not[?].

Bugger me.... I have no kids and no coupe's. [8~2]

I agree about leaving the bonnet up at the back. Super cool. Who cares if every second person thinks you're crazy. Good to do something different. Also..... I love so much that your car is the South African version. That makes it even cooler in my eyes!

I'm sure that Tedidesign has but Chobis have you seen the South Af Monaro's, The front ends are different and they're badged a Chevrolet SS. They take a bit of getting used to but they grow on ya.
My brother actually got his from New Zealand. Looking at yours Tedidesign, i reckon i may just leave me bonnet raised up, a bit of nostalgia hey. Yours is definatly a sweet looking rig mate.
Check out the twin system in front of the back left wheel.

Cheers, Richo
