Might be worth beefing up the box too.. They seem to the first thing to go. I guess it depends on how you drive it. Should be fun at the track, enjoy.

mmmm....Escorts ruled the rally world in the 70's....and WRX's ruled in the 90's......I think that choice of car is excellent - a modern day Escort if I ever saw one - if of course you look at this world like I do - through the eyes of Salvador Dali.

P.S. -My choice of daily would be a Wrexy if the home Finance dept (see wife) allowed. Prodive blue My99 with 19inch OZ turismos!

Thats it guys[:p] They are awsome cars...I've been working on Subaru's since January 1993....just as the WRX was born Now I know I would work for no other brand and am lucky enough to now be running 2 of Subaru Australia's workshops The only exception would be if cosworth rereleased the Classic Small Ford range packed full of their goodies[(#)]

I really like the MY99's... and I'm guessing I'm not the only one on these forums, definitely not from what already's been said. [;^)]

I'd have one. Its amazing what sort of impact one car can have on the motoring world. Subaru used to be the Japanese version of Volvo, They've always made good cars, but for a long time were just considered unusual with their dinky lil AWD wagons and sedans. But they stuck to their guns, and as AWD technology has improved, they really showed their experiance in the field with the imprezza, and a boxer engine that even Porsche could learn something from.
