Well it has taken longer then i had hoped but it is all
done now

motor for the injection and turbo

It is acrylic with clear on top.
The new motor is a fue weeks away as a lot has to be changed
for the injection and turbo
so for now it is stock as a rock

Hi Jimmy all the prep work is the same up to paint time
then i just give it a bit of a rub down in between coats with 400
paint 3 clear 4 coats

mines 2pack, done by a shop. Not a bad job, flat on top and tiny bit grainy on the sides but aren't they all? Its actually a good job and I'm pretty happy with it.

It runs well 11psi on premium unleaded and 17psi on 85E
this motor has a nice small cam in it so it comes on full boost
at 1650rpm and runs all the way to 7100rpm
It give a lot of people a shock as it is only a 1600

Have you considered running an intercooler ? A cooler intake charge could only help your cause.

Hi Damion yer its a good set up as for power??did not make it to the

I have just got a new programmable ignition for it so that may help with the pinging and new motor is 7 1/2 to one com as well so should be better this time round

Normally the tops come upwards, not downwards on pushrods. You find the little bit in the sump?

It seams that the top rings were pushed down as the top ring was lose and the second would not move. The bit was still stuck in there lucky.

The set up was made for a 1600 kent There are some set ups for other cars out there but i have not seen one on the street.
My was made in 1969 i have had it 23 years and on my Escorts for 22 years and with the turbo for 7 years.
All the turbo set up was made by me.

From the pics it looks like the rubber on the globes isnt as wide on the hotwires? and are the globes a bigger rim? 14"? Wider rubber on the globes and maybe paint em black is what i would do.

Sh!t 123 at the wheels on only 6psi... thats impressive.
6psi gives the engine 1.40atm to work with... so roughly you have .40 times more power than if your engine was N/A. I say roughly because that assumes your engine has the same ve throughout the rev range and that air temps are staying constant and that you are close enough to sea level ectect. so back of the napkin calculations give you engine would have 88rwhp in N/A trim. Some peoples 2L pintos are lucky to see that.

Turn the boost up to 14.7psi and assuming air temp isn't an issue and fueling is fine and you have a good tune I would be putting money on close to 176rwhp.

I dont know much about kents but what's the weak point? I'm assuming that your running 6psi for a reason.

Anyway Sick car man.

Jordan the motor is all stock in side pistons rods crank.
The head was done by me and just a small 234 cam 6psi from 1800rpm on the dyno it did not get tuned on the dyno just a club day with the small ford car club i think it would go 145-150 with some time to turn it on the dyno for now its just fun and i just get in and drive it to small ford Sunday in Melbourne no probs and thats what i built it for
